Theysohn
Extrusionstechnik has a long tradition in manufacturing
counter-rotating twin-screw extruders. Its roots lead
back to the early fifties. It has been named Theysohn in the year 1989. With
the introduction of three conical and three parallel extruders
Theysohn quickly gained market shares worldwide. Also
in the US market Theysohn products are well-known through
the close cooperation with American Maplan in the past.
Since 1978 Theysohn is delivering technology know-how
for twin-screw extrusion to America.
In 2003 a new age for the Theysohn Extrusionstechnik has been started.
Under the roof of Theysohn Holding GmbH (Vienna, Austria) a new business group has been
founded by the management of Theysohn Extrusionstechnik GmbH
and Topf Kunststofftechnik GmbH. To ensure the quality level of
Theysohn products Extruder-Komponenten Salzgitter GmbH
(Salzgitter, Germany) has been integrated.
In 2004 Theysohn Extrusionstechnik founded OOO "Theysohn" in Moscow, Russia and the liason office
in Pune, India.In the meantime the liason office in Pune has been changed into Theysohn Extrusionstecnik (India) Pvt Ltd.
Today, Theysohn group, a member of HTI group, is the market leader
in the field of the three layer pipe systems and gained
significant market shares in delivering machines for the
window and door production. Due to its technological advantage
companies all over the world rely on Theysohn products
and systems. In China Theysohn Extrusionstechnik has reached
market leadership in the last years.
