Impressive Order From China

Theysohn Extrusionstechnik could strengthen their market position through
an additional order of 72 complete window-profile production lines with a
total of 132 tools and 8 mixing stations.
Over the last couple of years, including this order, more than 300 high-output
window-profile lines with 550 single and double strand tools and 20 material
mixing stations were delivered to their customers.
Theysohn Extrusionstechnik is managed as a financially independent entity
within the VGT Industrie AG group (34119 Kassel, Germany / Europe) with
excellent business results. Financial problems of the VGT group therefore
do not effect Theysohn Extrusionstechnik at all.
Due to a high increase of orders in 2002 the plant in Korneuburg was increased
in size by 1000 m² production and 380 m² office space. With this additions Theysohn
Extrusionstechnik have now 2500 m² production, 1000 m² for R&D, 100 m² mixing and
1000 m² office space at their disposal.
The process of strengthening the organisation in the areas of Sales, R&D, Service
and After Sales, that was started in 2002 will consequently be continued in 2003 to
guarantee the high standard of service to the customers even with increased turnover.
The product-portfolio is still lead by the window-profiles ahead of the 3
layer-foam core pipe and the standard pipes. Fibre / Polymer compounds (rice shells,
wood flour) will gain importance in 2003 because of Theysohns experience in the Asian
Market.
The year 2003 started to be a promising one too. With already 40 Mio. Euro orders
in process Theysohn's annual turnover will increase by at least 5 %. The number of
produced conical and parallel twin-screw extruders will exceed 145.
In 2003 Theysohn Extrusionstechnik will continue to increase the turnover and the
number of produced extruders and will contrary to the overall market situation develop
further.
